Croatia, you have stolen my heart!

Croatia is the gem of the Aegean sea, with it's rocky shoreline, and clear aqua marine waters, how could we not love it here? We had a fantastic time enjoying the laid back feel of the island Hvar. Its white cobblestone streets and incredible scenery  were simply magical, I just wish I had a white summer dress and a stripped cardigan to really fit in with the locals.
We took an overnight ferry from Italy, this is our bedroom.
the ferry took us to the city of Split, we are in the castle looking at stuff

Standing in front of the pristine green/blue waters

that is rusty and our friend eric- we met him and his girlfriend juliane on our ferry.

We rented scooters and rode all over the island of Hvar, we had a really fun time

me and my new friend juliane swimming in clear blue water, oh it was beautiful

The water was so beautiful, you could see at least 15 feet deep, we sat and watched the fishes go by for hours. When we swam out far away from the shore you could see to the bottom at what seemed to be at least 30 feet deep. When we couldn't see the bottom anymore, the suns rays shown through the water in as if trying to reach the depths below.

Testing my drive by shooting technique
Eric stepped on a spikey sea urchin, he had like 10 spikes in his foot, rusty was helping him get them out. Rusty got one in his toe.
the typical food they ate here, a sausage burger and fries. rusty really liked it.

These are our friends Juliane and Eric from Canada. We met them on the ferry and we instantly clicked, we ended up sharing an apartment with them our whole stay here, we had a great time with them!

Lavender fields everywhere, it made the island smell so sweet!

There are tons a little islands around Hvar, mainly beaches so we rented a little boat and explored the islands, it was so fun, we packed a lunch and enjoyed the breathtaking views.
