In 1908 Merriam-Webster defined "Walkabout" as "a short period of wandering bush life engaged in by an Australian aborigine as an occasional interruption of regular work."
Although, we are not Aborigine's by any means we are fulfilling 2 of the 3 criteria that Mr. Webster defined as walkabout. We are leaving the world we know behind to wander the bush for an extended period of time.
We intend on chronicling our journey as a means of remembering our adventures and hopefully sharing them with whoever might be interested.
Let it begin.
